How to Spend 24 Hours at Table Rock Lake

Breathtaking sunrises, gentle waves, and crisp lake air have a way of making worries slip away. The coronavirus has changed a lot in our world, normalizing drive-thru meals, protective face masks everywhere, and working from home. All-the-while nature is resilient. Let’s take a peak at what 24 hours at the lake looks like amid this “new normal.”

Early Morning: Sunrise & Serenity

Kick-start your day with an amazing view and a cup of joe. Awake, unplug, and connect with nature. From your private balcony or deck, experience the vibrant colors of the notorious Table Rock Lake sunrise.

Spend the Remainder of Your Morning…

Make a short drive to Old Fashioned Dough Company in Branson West for curb-side pickup of some of the most delightful rolls in the 417!

Take the family for a scenic hike along the shores of Table Rock Lake and explore 5 miles of hiking trails at the resort. Familiarize yourself with our fishing and swimming platforms and amenities including a NEW saltwater pool and hot tub.

Lunchtime: Paddle & Picnic

Pack an old-fashioned picnic, hit the water, and maintain your social distancing! Table Rock Resorts offers FREE kayaks and paddle boards. Venture onto the crystal clear waters of Table Rock Lake and search for the perfect place for an afternoon picnic.

Dinner: Cozy Cabin, Cheesy Pizza

A long day at the lake calls for a pizza delivery! Ozark Mountain Pizza is a locally owned pizzeria with delicious pizza and fabulous service. Order online or call (417) 386-4210.

PRO TIP: Ask about their monthly specials and save BIG on dinner.

Dusk: Camp Fires & Friends

Table Rock Resorts supplies the firewood and fire pit! Bring a lawn chair and s’mores for a dreamy end to a packed lake day.

The Ultimate Idea for Hope in Times of Uncertainty – Kids Edition

Explaining a pandemic to kids is NOT a walk in the park.

We have taught our kids to wash their hands (a lot), to stay away from sick people, and constantly remind them to stop touching their face. Kids understand that something in our world is different: there is worry and fear from COVID-19. Staying home from school, missing soccer practice, and watching church on Facebook Live isn’t normal – it is a disappointment. The CDC has great tips on how to navigate fruitful conversation with kids about the coronavirus. But, how can we provide HOPE to our littles amidst the uncertainty in the world?

Choose a destination, plan activities for the family, and look forward to unforgettable memories to come.

Step 1: CHOOSE A DESTINATION

The best part about a vacation is planning it. Here is the sad (but true) aspect to consider: the world is no longer at our fingertips. The coasts have been hit hard with illness. The Midwest may be the safest place to take your family and there is MUCH to do. Consider Branson, Missouri, a small-town in the scenic Ozark foothills with attractions for the family.

Branson, Missouri – Your Family Destination

Step 2: ACTIVITIES FOR THE FAMILY

From the iconic Silver Dollar City theme park to the beauty of Table Rock Lake, there are an abundance of activities for your family to choose from while planning your summer vacation. Have some fun with the kids and have them compile their top picks of activities in Branson, MO!

Step 3: LOOK FORWARD TO UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES TO COME

Our hope is placed in future stability. Take time to plan a fun-filled vacation to the scenic Ozarks. We suggest a road-trip. Trust us, your littles will love the view. In the mean time, stay-safe and look forward to a bright future with your family in Branson, Missouri.
